Description
The L3 Harris MTM‑VIS Mini Thermal Monocular with Visible Laser is a rugged, compact handheld thermal imager featuring a built-in visible marking laser. Designed for tactical, surveillance, and search & rescue applications, it offers approximately 4 hours of continuous battery life using two 3 V CR123 lithium batteries. With a wide 29° field of view (≈1,522 ft at 1,000 yd), this unity‑magnification monocular can detect stationary man-sized heat signatures out to ~400 m and moving ones to ~500 m. The unit weighs ~11.5 oz and measures approximately 6.5 x 2.2 x 2.8 inches, making it highly portable and helmet‑adapter compatible.
