Description
The Leopard LE2-16 is a thermal spotter with a 16mm lens. Its compact size conceals some of the most advanced technology in the thermal optics industry today. At only 304g, it is lightweight and easily cradles in the palm of your hand. It features a 2.9x optical zoom that leverages a change in the lens to adjust the distance between the camera and the target object, providing crisp and clear magnification. Additionally, it features a 2-8x digital zoom that provides additional magnification and enlarging the viewable image with a 11°x8.2° field of view (FOV). This compact unit also features the ability to record .MP4 1024x768 video of what you are viewing at the rate of 50 frames/second and it takes 1024x768 .JPG images that can be downloaded via the included HDMI cable or connected via WiFi to your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet from the internal 43GB memory. Resolution of the OLED display is 1024x768, backing up the 256x192 thermal sensor. The advanced sensor has a Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of ≤25mK (milli-Kelvin) and a pixel pitch of 12µm (microns) providing you with an extremely sensitive device that performs even when environmental thermal contrast is low at great distances. The Leopard LE2-16 offers five different thermal color display modes for varying conditions – White Hot (most common), Black Hot (best for viewing wildlife at night), Red Hot (helps reduce overexposure with ambient light), Iron Hot and Sky. The 18650 removable/rechargeable battery provides up to 6 hours of use and can operate in temperatures between -22° and 131° F. Conveniently carry a couple extra batteries to avoid having to leave the field to recharge. The Ingress Protection (IP) factor rates at an industry leading IP67, providing 100% security against dust and submersion in up to 3ft of water.
