The Pulsar Axion XQ19 Compact is a small, ultra-portable thermal monocular that combines strong performance with an accessible price point. It uses a 384 × 288 resolution, 17µm <18 mK NETD thermal sensor paired with a 19mm F/1.0 Germanium lens, producing a native magnification of 1.5x. This setup, along with a crisp 640 × 400 AMOLED display, delivers high-clarity thermal imagery for spotting and monitoring in diverse conditions.
TheBuilt with a durable magnesium alloy body, the Axion XQ19 Compact is IPX7 waterproof-rated and engineered to handle demanding outdoor use while keeping weight extremely low. Power is supplied by a removable APS-3 rechargeable lithium battery, offering up to 8 hours of runtime per charge, with the option to connect external USB-C power for longer sessions.
TheAdditional highlights include integrated photo and video recording with 64GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi connectivity through Pulsar’s Stream Vision 2 app, multiple viewing color palettes, image enhancement settings, and intuitive controls. A 1/4” tripod mount adds versatility for stationary observation. Weighing just over half a pound, this monocular packs robust capability into a compact, travel-friendly design at a cost that’s easy on the budget.
