Description
SureFire’s SOCOM556 RC2 Suppressor was designed with one goal in mind: signature reduction. Reducing a weapon’s signature involves suppressing noise as well as muzzle flash, and the RC2 is optimized to reduce both. The RC2 achieves this with a unique internal baffling system, which delivers an extremely quiet report and a 99.3% reduction in visible muzzle flash. This system also utilizes a cutting edge internal venting system which reduces back pressure, cyclic rate and gas blowback, resulting in significantly lower operating temperature. In addition, the RC2 Suppressor is designed for use on M4/M16 variations with barrels 10 inches or longer, and attaches to the weapon via SureFire’s Fast-Attach muzzle brakes and flash hiders.
