SureFire's XC1-B Handgun Weaponlight is one of the smallest and most lightweight handgun weaponlights available on the market. It was specifically designed to be mounted on compact handguns with accessory rails without adding any significant weight or bulk to the weapon's overall profile. It uses the common AAA battery, and produces a powerful 300 lumen beam of illumination. The controls are a pair of simple ambidextrous toggle switches that have two modes, momentary-on and constant-on. Momentary on is activated by pressing and holding down one of the toggle switches, and the light will remain active until the switch is released. Constant-on is activated by quickly pressing and releasing a toggle switch, and the light will remain on until switched off.
