The barrel is 24.3 inches, fluted and blued, with a 1:9.5 twist. Fluting takes weight out of the barrel and the bolt without making either one flimsy. Recoil is where a light magnum can bite, so Tikka added a thicker recoil pad, a steel recoil lug, and a blued muzzle brake. Prefer a suppressor? The muzzle is already threaded 5/8x24.
