Description

With over one million produced, Trijicon’s Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight, better known as the ACOG has become iconic in the realm of combat optics — and for good reason, the ACOG has an unquestioned reputation for quality and reliability. The Trijicon ACOG is the official medium range weapon sight for both U.S. Special Operations Forces and the Marine Corps as well as being the optic of choice for law enforcement agencies across the country. What sets the ACOG apart from the pack is what it offers to its users, increased hit potential regardless of light conditions. This is due to the tritium/fiber optic illuminated reticle found in most Trijicon ACOG riflescopes, this automatically adjusts illumination of the reticle based on available light. With a wide array of magnification levels, reticle designs, and reticle colors available — there truly is an ACOG for every mission.

Trijicon ACOG riflescopes come in the following magnification levels:

1.5x16, 1.5x24, 2x20, 3x24, 3x30, 3.5x55, 4x32, 5.5x50, and 6x48.

Features:

Superior Quality Glass Lenses
Multi-coated lenses provide superior clarity and light transmitting capabilities with zero distortion.
Rugged Aluminum-Alloy Housing
Forged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum-housing provides for a nearly indestructible sighting system.
Fixed Magnification
Less moving parts than a variable optic equals increased durability and reliability. Seven magnification levels are available.
Waterproof up to 100 Meters
Dry-nitrogen filled to eliminate fogging. Five times more waterproof than military standard requirements.
Both Eyes Open Design
The ACOG can be used as a CQB sight when shooting both eyes open utilizing the Bindon Aiming Concept.

This glass is so clear I shot the pecker of a hummingbird bird at 1000m.

Love it. All the benefits of the classic acog, while eliminating the couple pet peeves that kept me from buying one like i used in the service for a civilian rifle. Cutting down on battery carriage is great when you’re humping around in mountains for 8 months. Not necessary for me in a civilian/ duty rifle. AA battery will still last you easily over a year if you turn it on setting 4 and leave it on the whole time. (Yes, i tried it) Meaning 15 AA batteries already gets you a longer lived illuminator than the tritium does. But trijicon also gives you an “off” setting between every power option on the optic so when it’s sitting in your safe it can be completely powered off and realistically you’re getting even longer life out of it than that. I make a habit of changing all my batteries once a year just as good practice, but i wouldn’t be surprised if someone gets 3+ years out of a single AA if they only turn it on when they’re using the rifle. The ability to just crank the power setting up or down in accordance with ambient light, to either give yourself a brighter reticle or sharpen up those lines for more precise shooting, is exactly what the RCOs we had in the service were missing in my opinion. Yes the fiber optic theoretically did that for you, but as anyone who served in the infantry in the past 10 years will probably tell you, it’s far from perfect. No more screwing around with strapping chem lights on your optic with electrical tape as a makeshift filter, no more “well it’s dark here, but light there…” or vice versa. And as always, the thing is tough as nails, as one would expect from trijicon. No need to worry about treating your fighting rifle like a newborn infant. Slap this thing on a quality rifle and you’ll be set for many years to come. Just one dudes opinion, but i believe we finally have a perfect adaptation of quality military gear for civilian/ LE use in this optic. I also can’t say one bad thing about Eurooptic. They have in stock what they say they do, shipping is fast, customer service is on point, and they always have some of the best deals in the game. I’ve ordered my last few optics from them, and I’ll certainly shop again.

Clear view, the red chevron adjustable light is a plus, can adapt to any light. Powered by AA battery, no need to protect vial or run out of tritium power. Also built like a tank.

I've always wanted an ACOG, it just took me 10 years to finally get one. I'm extremely happy with the TA02 model with my RMR mounted on top. I did have to do some repositioning due to the low eye relief of the ACOG (but that is a known thing with this optic). I ended up removing my standard BUIS and buying some MBUS Pro canted BUIS. Fixed that issue and all is well. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
