The Trijicon ACOG TA11E-A amber chevron BAC reticle gives .308 flattop rifle shooters the Bindon Aiming Concept's instinctive, both-eyes-open, close-range acquisition through the open chevron shape, alongside the sharp chevron tip, for precise shot placement at the medium and extended distances that .308-caliber rifles are specifically capable of. The chevron tip is zeroed at 100 meters with BDC references out to 800 meters for the .308 trajectory - calibrated for the specific bullet drop of the heavier .308 round rather than a repurposed 5.56 reticle.
The 5.53 MOA chevron base width, representing 19 inches at 300 meters, provides the shooter with a practical silhouette-target range reference for fast field distance estimation.
The ACOG Scope TA11E-A fiber optic and tritium dual illumination automatically adjusts the warm amber chevron brightness without batteries - fiber optics handle daylight adjustment automatically, and tritium maintains the illuminated reticle at night.
The ACOG 3.5x35 TA11E-A includes a flattop adapter for correct mounting on .308 flattop rifles.
