The Trijicon ACOG scope TA11F-G green chevron BAC reticle gives .223 flattop rifle shooters both the fast, close-range Bindon Aiming Concept, both-eyes-open engagement capability, and the precise chevron tip for accurate shot placement at the distances covered by the 800-meter calibrated ranging reticle. The chevron tip is designed to be zeroed at 100 meters - a practical zeroing distance that gives the shooter correct holdover references across the full calibrated range. The 5.53 MOA base width of the chevron provides a practical range estimate of 19 inches at 300 meters, allowing fast silhouette target ranging using the chevron base width as the measurement reference.
The ACOG 3.5x35 TA11F-G cool green chevron illumination provides the natural, immediately visible aiming reference that the BAC both-eyes-open shooting system depends on - the bright green chevron tip that the dominant eye acquires naturally against the target without any deliberate reticle search. Battery-free fiber-optic and tritium dual illumination automatically keep the green chevron lit in any lighting condition.
