The ACOG Chevron reticle TA31F-G green chevron is designed to be zeroed at 100 meters with BDC holdover references extending out to 800 meters for the specific .223 trajectory. The 5.53 MOA chevron base width represents 19 inches at 300 meters - providing a practical silhouette-target ranging reference that gives the shooter fast distance estimation without any additional ranging tool.
