Low power variable optics are definitely a "get what you pay for" item. I've always been a big Trijicon fan but decided on the Razor after hearing so much good about it. It's definitely worth the price. Optical clarity is extremely good, eye relief is forgiving and the eye box is hard to beat. I didn't spend the extra money on the E model but if weight is a concern you might consider dropping the extra coin. It is heavy but it's durable. I run my guns hard; they get dropped, banged into fence posts, beat around in side by sides and don't lose zero. I wouldn't hesitate buying again and am really thinking about getting one for when I build my wife an AR. My only complaint is spending this much on an optic and not receiving a sticker to put on the safe. Everyone in the gun world knows how important stickers are.

Vortex razor hd 1-6 with jdm bdc has to be the best investment I’ve ever made, this scope rocks! It’s just like having a red dot and I noticed not much difference between red and this scope. The glass is exceptional and the dot is daytime bright, words can’t describe how awesome this scope is and I now understand the saying pay 💰 once cry once!! Only down side is still magnification and weight but to me this scope is worth every penny and you won’t be disappointed. Big shot out to euro optics for the best price I’ve ever seen $900!!

I didn’t want the BDC reticle but the deal was hard to pass up. Some say the difference between the Viper PST gen2 and the Razor is minimal and that the price isn’t justifiable. Those people are flat out wrong. Don’t try to justify a budget optic by disparaging a far better one. I’m barely middle class but the razor is worth every single penny. The glass clarity, FOV, eye box, eye relief, and construction are twice as good as the viper. So it costs twice as much.

Build like a tank. Clear glass and very bright red reticle. Shipped fast. Good price vs all the other options I reviewed before ordering. Little heavy but decided of this version because of the price. Mounted on a Badger Ordnance C1 mount and their offset mount for the Aimpoint and its solid. Just waiting for my JP Rifle SCI-20 I ordered.

Glass is almost on par with it's European 1-6 competitors. It's a tank, but I knew that going into it. This is my second 1-6 gen II. I sold my first one and totally regretted it. Glad to have this one back as an option. The eye relief and forgiveness on the Razor are better than my Kahles K16i. The Kahles glass is maybe a hair more clear to my eye, but I feel faster with the Razor if that makes sense. For the price, it's a no brainer. It's the best 1-6 option for the money.

Product came brand new although it was 400$ cheaper than the retail price. I was very pleased when I got my package. It was beautifully packaged and in perfect condition. Eurooptics is now my go to for acupes and other gun products. 5 stars service

Wow this is the real deal, I have the vortex viper pst 1-6 but need another scope for my 300blk build and came across this!!! You will not find a better deal for this scope anywhere and if you are looking at this scope you already know the quality and craftsmanship of the razor

I have served almost twenty years in law enforcement/SWAT and the military/deployed twice to Iraq. Been lucky enough to have used some of the best gear in the world and this is Vortex Razor HD is a great piece of tough dependable gear that you can get for the money. Great eye relief, red dot fast, clear optics, and built like a tank. Worth every penny!

Amazing Glass! I went from a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8 to this. It is night and day difference. The clarity of the glass is pretty much 4k clear.
I was blown away by the optic and the price from Euro Optic. Plus super fast shipping to boot. Will be shopping for a Razor HD scope for my prairie dog gun next and will be shopping with Euro Optic in the future.

Loved my first Razor so much especially for 900$ that I turned around and bought another one. I honestly thought when I first made this purchase that at the price listed I would receive a used scope or a demo but the scope was 100% brand new and unused. Now I wouldn’t buy an optic from anywhere else. Thank you Eurooptic! I highly, highly recommend this site. It was packaged nicely from eurooptics, and the vortex box was in mint condition. I ordered the JM1 reticle and received that model. The scope is crystal clear at any magnification. The illumination on low settings works for me in any condition with no distortion of the dot. Some people think it’s heavy, but it’s not that bad. If you think it’s bad… lift weights. Just joking. Get yourself the quick throw ring! This sucker is definitely on the tight side. The throw lever takes care of that, though. Overall this is a great deal, on a great scope.

Here is my take - there are a ton of great LPVO's out there. I looked at all of them over 2 months of research. FIRST you have to decide what you want the LPVO for, what firearm or you need 8x or even 10x? And then what are you willing to spend? I feel this scope specifically the Gen II (not E) is the best version, as this model is when Vortex was hyper focused on quality. Don't get me wrong they have the best warranty in the industry but before the "E" these LPVO's were just BOMB PROOF. They are a few oz heavier but that is only on paper. The field of view in bonkers! And what you get for the price right is bar-none, the best for your $1. I could not be happier with it. I have it mounted on a Unity Fast with a Dot offset and they party together. Is the extra $1100 worth the new 1x10 or is it a flex statement? You will have to decide in the end, but if you are just wondering what others think about THIS version, I can honestly say, you will not be disappointed in the price and the scope itself
Euro Optics service was absolutely fantastic as well. It went on sale a week later and they gave me the difference back. I am extremely happy with the optic and even more satisfied with the level of Customer Service from Euro Optic.

Wonderful scope. Great Glass with edge to edge clarity and fantastic brightness. The best illuminated red dot system I’ve seen on any scope.
Wish it came with a throw lever and flip style lens caps.

Love it! Had the Strike Eagle for a few years and hit steel at 600 yards no problem with an AR 16” barrel, so I’ve always had the “why fix something that isn’t broken” mentality. But recently I’ve had some extra $$ so I went ahead and bought the 1-6 Vortex Razor. NOT disappointed! I mean it still works the same except damn! That glass clarity! It really does feel like you’re not looking through glass at all. As a matter of fact, it makes things look clearer than if you we’re looking at something with your own naked eyes. Anyways, just my opinion. I would definitely recommend this product..
Oh, and the lifetime warranty helps too.

Seems well made externally, but the zoom / magnification in the optic I received was off. I sent it in to Vortex after a few days for them to repair or replace. On 1X my optic was really at about 0.8X, objects appeared smaller when viewed through the optic than with the naked eye. With both eyes open, objects appear blurred because of the size difference. Maybe the zoom ring was installed incorrectly, maybe it's a more complex problem inside the tube... Vortex has it now so we'll see. Their warranty is fantastic so no doubt they'll make it right, the price was good and eventually I'm sure it'll work out

Very clear optic, great eye relief and magnification. Two minor issues on mine. First was that there was a lot of stuff on the glass (black specs inside that had to be hammered a bit with a rubber mallet to leave). Some of the specs were near the center so it was hard to not notice. The other issue is that the turret screws were torqued way to hard so they stripped with their provided allen key when trying to zero.
Vortex's warranty fixed both issues, I sent them the scope and they fixed the screws on the turret and cleaned the specs (which I didn't mention).
Great product overall and while it is good they cover everything with their warranty, it sucks to get a new scope and then have to send it for 1-2 weeks to be repaired.
