It comes equipped with an advanced 384x288 thermal sensor and a high performance 25mm objective lens – together, these features allow the DTI 1/25 to detect heat signatures from an impressive 1443 yards away. These heat signatures are projected onto a 1280x960 LCOS display with pristine clarity and sharp details, giving the user unparalleled detection and recognition abilities. The DTI 1/25’s thermal imaging abilities are further enhanced by wide range of secondary modes and features. These include the newly designed color modes, which greatly mitigate the harsh blinding effect of staring into the screen in a dark environment. The detection mode highlights heat signatures to a higher degree while also reducing the cold background – this makes it easer to spot animals that are behind brush and vegetation.

In addition to its advanced thermal imaging abilities and secondary modes, the DTI 1/25 offers outstanding ergonomics. The button layout is optimized in a triangular format, which naturally places the user’s fingers in the proper location for easy one-handed operation.
