GFR 6mm ARC 20" Bbl Stratomatch Black Rifle

The GRF 6mm ARC Stratomatch was built from the ground up using the latest weapon technology available exclusively from Geissele Automatics. The 20-inch barrel is made from 416R stainless steel with cut rifling. The barrel extension utilizes feed ramps specifically designed for the 6mm ARC cartridge, and is elongated into the receiver. This significantly improves accuracy by providing a more rigid, monolithic interface between the barrel and receiver and preventing any deformation of the projectiles. Like all of Geissele's barrels, the GRF Stratomatch barrel is is precision machined, cold hammer forged, and made from the highest quality steel available. The barrels are subjected to High-Pressure Testing (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) for optimal accuracy and reliability. The GRF Stratomatch's barrel is topped with a Swavvy muzzle brake that improves accuracy and reduces recoil by splitting and deflecting gases away from the projectile while redirecting the gases backward and to the sides, clear of the shooter.

The heart of the GFR Stratomatch is the Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. This BCG is outfitted with a properly torqued and staked, chrome lined, gas key. The Reliability Enhanced BCG’s cam pin is precisely machined and the carrier’s extended upper rails provide much greater stability and significantly increases feeding reliability. The Reliability Enhanced BCG’s bolt itself is constructed using Carpenter 158+ Steel, which is considerably stronger, has less impurities, and offers more consistency. The bolt is then forged – not machined from bar stock – using the same process Geissele uses to forge upper and lower receivers in order to manipulate the grain structure of the metal, resulting in a bolt with 5 times the life span of a mil-spec bolt. In addition, the gas key, cam pin, and bolt are coated with Geissele’s exclusive Nanoweapon DSL (Durable Solid Lubricant). The Nanoweapon DSL offers extreme resistance to corrosion, wear, and abrasion, as well as rejecting carbon fouling to allow the firearm to operate normally with less lubrication.

The GFR Straomatch's upper and lower receivers have also been optimized for maximum performance. The upper is equipped with properly heat treated steel cam races that are riveted in place to provide steel-on-steel contact with the cam pin when cycling – this results in a longer service life without effecting the tolerances. The forward assist has been moved forward to provide more space to operate the charging handle while a magnified optic is mounted. The upper receiver is completed with Geissele's Ambidextrous Super Charging Handle to ensure positive manipulations. The lower receiver takes much of its design from Geissele's Super Duty Line, evident in parts such as the Maritime Bolt Catch, checkered takedown pins, and stainless magazine catch. The lower features a non-adjustable spring-loaded tensioning plunger installed to reduce wobble and create a tighter fit when the upper and lower receivers are connected. The Magazine well has also been improved with a more aggressive flare that has been optimized for use with dedicated Geissele 6MM ARC magazines. Every GFR also comes with a new reduced-angle Geissele Grip to provide users with a more modern primary point of contact.
