The AMG Rattler-V2 19-256 Thermal Clip-On transforms a traditional daytime optic into a powerful thermal imager. Measuring in at 7.2" x 2.7" x 2.6" and weighing at just over a pound, this compact thermal optic is perfect for close to mid-range night hunts thanks to its 1x base magnification and wide 9.3° x 6.9° (49 feet @ 100 yards) field of view. Compared to its predecessor, the Rattler-V2's refresh rate has been upgraded from 25hz to 50hz to ensure smooth scanning and minimal lag. The 1x magnification, wide FOV, and lightening fast refresh rate allows for extensive area coverage during scanning. The heart of the Rattler-V2 is a 12μm VOx Uncooled Focal Plane Array detector with sub-35mK sensitivity paired with a 19mm Germanium lens – this allows the Rattler-V2 to detect a human sized heat signature from up to 950 yards away. Heat signatures are projected onto a 0.39" OLED display and are viewable in 4 distinct color palettes – back hot, white hot, red hot, and fusion.
