The Geissele Super Precision ACOG Black Scope Mount 05-403B was developed specifically to work with the Trijicon 4x power ACOG series of optics, built to give that combat-proven optic a mounting platform worthy of it. Like the rest of the Super Precision line, it's precision machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 high strength aluminum rather than pieced together, which is what gives it its rigidity and consistent return to zero.
This Trijicon ACOG mount clamps down using Geissele's take on the classic nut and bolt method, the same approach that's proven itself far more secure than lever-style mounts over years of hard use. Here it generates 2,800 pounds of clamping force, an enormous margin that keeps the ACOG locked in place through recoil, rough handling, and repeated mounting and dismounting. Four shear lugs add further rigidity, so the optic holds its zero even after being pulled and reinstalled between rifles.
As a Geissele ACOG mount, it's finished in black type 3 hard coat anodize, with Geissele's proprietary DDC (Desert Dirt Color) hard coat anodize also available for shooters who want their setup to match a specific build.
