At the heart of the Exos is Schmidt & Bender's patented Close Combat Mode (CC Mode). When set to true 1x, the scope automatically shifts to a parallax-free setting of just 7 meters, providing rapid target acquisition at extremely close distances. Increasing magnification beyond 1.1x automatically returns parallax adjustment to 100 meters, ensuring optimal performance across the entire magnification range.

The large exit pupil and expansive field of view help shooters quickly locate and engage moving targets, while the daylight-bright FlashDot illuminated reticle remains clearly visible in challenging lighting conditions. Available with either the FD7 or CQB2 reticle in the second focal plane, the Exos provides precise aiming without reticle size changes throughout the zoom range. Competition-oriented models can also utilize the CQB reticle for enhanced close-range shooting performance.

The Exos LM features a lightweight yet rugged 30mm main tube, 90% light transmission, 11 illumination settings, and dependable waterproof construction. Available turret configurations include the popular ASV II LT elevation turret with Posicon CT, offering precise 1 cm click adjustments and a generous 100 cm/100 m elevation adjustment range. TMR-equipped models are compatible with Schmidt & Bender's optional Throw Lever for faster magnification changes under pressure.
