Tikka Scope Mounts
You've got a good scope. Now it needs to stay put on the rifle. The Tikka scope mounts here are factory parts from Tikka and Sako, so they're made for your receiver. The right one depends on two things: which rifle you shoot, and whether you want rings that clamp straight to the action or a Picatinny rail.
Picatinny Rails
A rail makes it easy to swap optics later, and it works with nearly any Picatinny ring on the market. That's why rails are the popular pick for Tikka T3x scope mounts.
The Tikka T3x Picatinny Rail we stock here has 20 MOA of built-in cant. That tilts the scope slightly nose-down, which frees up more elevation travel for long-range shooting. If you mostly hunt inside 400 yards, a flat rail is plenty. You'll find the flat Tikka T3x scope rail in our T3x parts and accessories.
Own a rimfire? The Tikka T1x Picatinny Rail comes in both 0 MOA and 20 MOA. The flat version suits most .22 LR and .17 HMR setups. Go with the 20 MOA rail if you're stretching a rimfire out past 200 yards.
Optilock Rings
If you'd rather skip the rail, Tikka Optilock rings clamp straight onto the dovetail on top of the receiver. That keeps the scope low and the whole setup light. Inside each ring, polymer inserts hold the scope tube without marking the finish. There's also an Optilock ring rebuild kit for freshening up an older set.
We also carry Sako Optilock rings in 30mm high, blued. Sako and Tikka use different dovetails, so check the listing before you pair them with a Tikka.
Picking the Right Mount
- T3x hunting rifle, one scope for life: Optilock rings.
- T3x you might re-scope, or shoot long range: the 20 MOA Picatinny rail.
- T1x rimfire: the T1x rail, flat or 20 MOA.
Match your ring diameter (1-inch, 30mm or 34mm) to your scope tube, and pick a height that clears the objective bell. Not sure what fits? Send us your rifle and scope, and we'll check it for you.
