Tikka T3x Lite Veil Alpine .308 Win 22 2/5" 1:11 Rifle JRTXVA316 pairs a proven hunting cartridge with a stock pattern built for mountain terrain rather than open plains. The Veil Alpine finish reads darker and grayer than Wideland, which makes it the better pick for hunters spending real time above the treeline on rock and snow instead of dry grass.

The barrel is 22.4 inches, fluted and threaded 5/8x24, and finished in Cerakote Desert Verde for genuine weather resistance rather than just a color coat. The 1:11 twist is a good match for the range of .308 bullet weights most hunters actually load, from lighter 150 grain rounds up through heavier 180 grain options for bigger game. Weight lands around 6.6 to 6.7 lbs, and the rifle measures 42.6 inches overall.

This Tikka T3x Lite Veil Alpine carries the same Cerakoted muzzle brake as the rest of the Veil lineup, which comes off the same threads if a suppressor is what you want later. The stock is modular, with the pistol grip and forend both swapping out for a personalized fit, and the enhanced recoil pad and steel recoil lug keep the .308's already mild recoil even more manageable.

Working the action stays easy in cold weather. The fluted bolt cuts weight, the oversized handle works fine with gloves, and a metal shroud protects the back of the bolt and firing pin. This Tikka Veil rifle feeds from a 3-round magazine, and the integral 17mm rail is drilled and tapped for Weaver bases or Picatinny rail. Every Tikka T3x Veil build carries the same accuracy the Tikka T3x Lite platform is known for, just finished for different terrain.
