Tikka T3x Lite Roughtech Tan .308 Win 22 2/5" 1:11 Rifle JRTXRT316 weighs about 6.4 lbs, and that number is the story. It is a hunting rifle you can carry from the truck to a far ridge and back, then shoot well when the moment comes. The 22.4 inch barrel is fluted and blued, with a 1:11 twist that handles most factory .308 loads.

The stock is tan with black webbing and a rough texture that holds in rain, snow, or with gloves on. On this Tikka T3x Lite Roughtech .308, the pistol grip and forend are modular, so you can adjust the fit without touching the action. The .308 is not a heavy kicker, but the rifle still has an enhanced recoil pad, a steel recoil lug, and a blued muzzle brake. A thread cap ships with it, and the 5/8x24 muzzle takes a suppressor.

At 42.6 inches overall, a Tikka T3x lite 308 is short enough for thick timber and blinds. The bolt is fluted to save weight, and the oversized handle works with gloves. A metal shroud covers the back of the bolt and firing pin. Single rounds load easily through the wide ejection port, and the detachable magazine holds three. The trigger is single-stage and adjustable.

The Tikka T3x Lite Roughtech line is all about taking a light rifle and making it tougher. Optics go on the integral 17mm rail, which is drilled and tapped for Weaver bases or Picatinny rail. Any Tikka T3x Lite rifle is light and accurate, and this T3x Lite Roughtech adds the weather-ready hardware.
