The Trijicon ACOG Scope TA11-D-100293 green chevron reticle is calibrated specifically for M193 5.56 55-grain FMJ ammunition — the most widely used military surplus and training load — fired from a 16-inch barrel. The chevron tip is zeroed at 100 meters with BDC holdover references extending out to 800 meters for the specific M193 trajectory. The 5.5 MOA base width of the chevron represents 19 inches at 300 meters - providing a practical silhouette target-ranging reference that gives the shooter fast distance estimation without requiring any additional ranging tool.
