The Trijcon ACOG TA31-D-100312 green chevron BAC reticle is zeroed using the tip at 100 meters with BDC holdover references extending out to 800 meters for the specific .223 trajectory. The 5.53 MOA chevron base width represents 19 inches at 300 meters - providing practical silhouette target ranging capability for fast field distance estimation. The BAC both-eyes-open design enables instinctive close-range acquisition through the open chevron shape, while the sharp green tip handles precise medium-range shot placement.
