The Trijicon thermal monocular M300W features a 640x480 12-micron thermal core that delivers a crisp, detailed image for fast target acquisition in complete darkness and poor visibility conditions where night vision optics lose their effectiveness. The 60 Hz frame rate enables efficient target tracking during movement and dynamic operational situations. The M300W thermal monocular MAXPOL display system provides White Hot and Black Hot modes with three brightness settings for each, and Edge Detect mode eliminates night-blindness risk by displaying only the warm outlines of targets against a dark background.

The Trijicon IR Patrol M300W is rated for cartridges up to .308 Win and 7.62x51mm NATO when weapon-mounted - a critical specification for operators who need confirmed recoil ratings before mounting thermal devices on duty rifles.
