The Colt M4 Carbine Magpul SL FDE Rifle is a semi-automatic, direct gas impingement rifle chambered in 5.56mm NATO, factory-upgraded with lightweight Magpul Slim Line (SL) ergonomics on a combat-proven M4 foundation. This duty-grade firearm incorporates a 16.1-inch chrome-lined, button-rifled barrel with a 1:7" right-hand twist rate and a standard A2 birdcage flash hider, built onto mil-spec forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers finished in a matte black hardcoat anodizing. Operating on a reliable carbine-length gas system, it features full-factory integration of Flat Dark Earth (FDE) Magpul furniture, including an MOE SL handguard with dual-side M-LOK mounting slots, an MOE SL slim pistol grip with an aggressive texture, an oversized MOE trigger guard, and a matching M-LOK vertical foregrip. The optics-ready flat-top profile is rounded out by an adjustable M4 A-frame fixed front sight post, a folding low-profile Magpul MBUS Gen 2 rear sight, a single-stage mil-spec trigger, and a 6-position collapsible Magpul MOE SL telescoping buttstock with an anti-snag release latch. The rifle feeds from an included 30-round Magpul PMAG, delivering a standard out-of-the-box capacity of 30+1.
