The Sugar Weasel by Q LLC is essentially a more economical version of the renowned Honey Badger, offering much of the same performance at roughly half the price. The front of the Sugar Weasel is virtually identical to the Honey Badger and is optimized for use with a suppressor. The 16-inch stainless steel match-grade barrel maximizes the potential of the 5.56 cartridge, and an adjustable gas block allows the rifle to be adapted for different ammunition types. The rear half of the Sugar Weasel differs significantly from the Honey Badger. This is most notable in the receiver: rather than a milled billet construction, the Sugar Weasel utilizes a forged receiver used by more common AR platforms. The stock has also been replaced with a more common MOE SL-K stock instead of the Honey Badger’s PDW-style stock, and can be replaced with the vast majority of AR-style stocks.

In terms of customization, the Sugar Weasel features a full length picatinny rail with more than enough space for optics, iron sights, and clip-on night vision/thermal devices, and M-LOK sections on the handguard allows for the use of lights, lasers, grips, and other accessories.
