Tikka T3x Lite Roughtech .270 Win 1:10 Bbl Left Hand Rifle JRTXRT418 is a flat-shooting deer and elk rifle for lefties, built for open country and lousy weather. The .270 Win has been a western favorite for generations. It shoots flat, kicks less than a .30-06, and still hits hard at distance. The 1:10 twist is a good match for the bullets most hunters load.

The barrel is fluted and blued, and it's threaded 5/8x24. A blued muzzle brake comes on it, and you can swap it for a suppressor if you like. The stock is tan Roughtech with black webbing. It has a rough texture that stays put in rain and cold, and the pistol grip and forend both swap out for a better fit. That helps left-handed shooters, who don't get many stock options.

You'll like a Tikka T3x Lite 270 for how little you notice it on a long walk. The fluted bolt takes out weight, and an enhanced recoil pad and steel recoil lug keep shots comfortable. The trigger is single-stage and adjusts from 2 to 4 lbs. The oversized bolt handle works fine with gloves, and a metal shroud covers the back of the bolt and firing pin.

On the Tikka T3x Lite Roughtech, single rounds load easily through the wide ejection port, and the detachable magazine holds three. The integral 17mm rail is drilled and tapped for Weaver bases or Picatinny rail, so mounting a scope is simple.

Every Tikka T3x Lite rifle is light and accurate out of the box. The T3x Lite Roughtech version just holds up better when the weather turns.
