Tikka T3x Lite Roughtech Tan 6.5 Creedmoor 24 1/3" 1:8 Rifle JRTXRT382 is a good match for hunters who take shots past 300 yards and still want a rifle they will carry every day of the season. The 24.3 inch barrel is fluted and blued, and the 1:8 twist suits the long, high-BC bullets that give 6.5 Creedmoor its flat trajectory and low wind drift.

The stock is tan with black webbing, and its textured surface holds in rain, cold, or with gloves on. The pistol grip and forend are modular, so the fit can be adjusted without touching the action. On this Tikka T3x Lite Roughtech 6.5 Creedmoor, an enhanced recoil pad, a steel recoil lug, and a blued muzzle brake keep the recoil low, which makes follow-up shots quick. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24 if you prefer a suppressor.

The rifle weighs about 6.6 lbs and measures 44.5 inches overall. That is light enough to carry uphill without noticing it. The fluted bolt saves weight, and the oversized handle works with gloves on. A metal shroud covers the back of the bolt and firing pin. The trigger is single-stage and adjustable, and the wide ejection port makes loading single rounds easy.

Any Tikka T3x Lite rifle starts with a light, accurate action, and the Roughtech version adds the weather protection. The T3x Lite roughtech in this caliber pairs a popular cartridge with a rifle built to take hard use. The detachable magazine holds three rounds, and the integral 17mm rail is drilled and tapped for Weaver bases or Picatinny rail.
