Description

New for 2024, AGM Global Vision delivers one of the most technologically advanced thermal riflescopes in the world with the Clarion 384. What sets the Clarion 384 apart from other thermal optics is its dual lens optical system which allows the scope to mechanically alternate between a 25mm lens and a 50mm lens. When set to the 25mm lens, the Clarion 384 has a base magnification of 2x and a substantial FOV of 53 feet at 100 yards (10.5° x 7.9°). When set to the 50mm lens, the Clarion 384 has an increased base magnification of 4.5x and a narrower FOV of 27 feet at 100 yards (5.3° x 4.0°). Switching between lenses is simple and results in zero degradation of image quality. The ability to switch between lenses allows the operator use the reduced base magnification and wider FOV of the 25mm lens to observe large areas, and then use the increased magnification and narrow FOV of the 50mm lens to positively identify targets and make precise shot placements. This level of versatility is also perfect for adapting the Clarion 384 to specific environments, ranges, animals, and applications.

The heart of the Clarion 384 is a 12μm VOx Uncooled Focal Plane Array thermal detector with sub 20mK sensitivity. This allows the Clarion 384 to pick up heat signatures from up to 1200 yards away when set to the 25mm lens and up to 2600 yards away when set to the 50mm lens. Heat sources are projected onto a 0.39" OLED 1024x768 display and are viewable in 4 user selectable color palettes – black hot, white hot, red hot, and fusion. Similarly, the Carion 384 offers 10 reticle types to choose from as well as 5 customizable zeroing profiles for adapting the optic to various firearms and cartridges.

Other features of the Clarion 384 include on-board video/audio recording and image capture, and the Shot Activated Recording (SAR) immediately captures footage when the host weapon is fired. Additionally, the Clarion 384 is powered by a removable and rechargeable Li-ion battery that provides a continuous run time of up to 11 hours.
