Description

Revic Optics, a division of Gunwerks, created the BR4 Ballistic Rangefinder to deliver nearly instant ranges and firing solutions! This advanced ranging tool takes into account wind and earth based effects to provide accurate and extremely fast corrections to both MOA and MILS, as well as Revic’s exclusive Shoot-To-Range feature with BDC turrets (REVIC riflescopes). The display provides ample date to simplify the entire shooting process, and a series of improved ranging tools utilize target discrimination and an innovative long-range mode. Other features of the BR4 include a barometric pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, and an inclination sensor – all of which is mounted directly inside the unit and protected by a Gore-Tex membrane. In addition, the BR4 can be programmed via Bluetooth device, and Revic’s Over The Air Update protocols gives the user the latest software updates.

This is a pretty incredible product in my opinion. I have the Original BR2 rangefinder made by Gunwerks (REVIC is their brand) and it was incredible. I owned the Sig Kilo ABS2400 for a while and just could not get consistent ranges on it, so I returned it. I run the Swaro EL rangefinding Binos, and they are amazing. But I got the BR4 because I want to be able to really reach out to 2500 yards or beyond, which the binos just can't do. I have been impressed. When in Long Range Far mode, I have been able to range to 4039 yards. The functionality of the app appears to be seamless at this point. It has a truing feature that I am still figuring out, but it is one of the most impressive tech features I have seen in the gun world. Overall, two weeks in, I am happy and would recommend it.
