Built as a more cost-effective solution for law enforcement agencies and civilian competitors, the Cadex Tacseries of rifles has three variants: the Guardian Tac (.260 Remington, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5x47 Lapua, and .308 Winchester), the Freedom Tac (.300 Winchester Magnum), and the Patriot Tac (.300 Norma Magnum and .338 Lapua Magnum).

The major difference between the Tac series of rifles and the Cadex Lite series of rifles is the fixed stock, instead of the folding stock - the rifle is still just as precise and accurate as its Lite bigger brother.
