Description

The Ares ETR 3-18x50 APLR6 Riflescope was designed with rifle hunters and PRS shooters in mind. Its UHD glass lenses have been fully multicoated for decreased reflection and enhanced light transmission for clearer, more vibrant images. In addition, the Ares ETR 3-18x50 is equipped with an APLR6 reticle in the first focal plane. The first focal plane positioning shrinks and grows the reticle with your target as you zoom in or out, this allows for rapid target acquisition at mid-range while providing precise holdover positions at long range.

Very impressed with this scope. Great clarity and crisp turrets. Glass is on par with my VX-6. With the quality I've seen in this scope, I will be buying another Athlon soon

I ordered this for a Seekins Precision 2.0 rifle in 300WM, so I hope it is sturdy. I like that the focus/parallax goes down to 10 yards, and the illumination has shut-off detents between the power settings. I would prefer that the illumination NOT be the entire reticle but illuminate only the center. The glass seems crisp, and the turrets are positive. Windage is engaged by pulling out on the turret and then locking by pushing in. This negates the need for a cap. I am still waiting on my mount to test tracking. I had to order rings from (yuck) MidwayUSA, and they took 11 days for an in-stock item to get out of postal limbo, whereas Europtic's 2-day Red delivery of this scope got here in one day!! Guess who gets the majority of my business from now on?
