These are high quality covers. Rubber sleeve slides over the scope and holds securely. Now I need 3 more sets of them.

Was hard to find these in a pair, so contacted Vortex, and was told of a seller that had both.
Better than expectations. Engineered, and made well. Not just cheap plastic. I like that the caps flip right over to just about flat on the scope. Made of stretchy rubber, and a perfect fit for Viper PST Gen ii 5-25x50

This is similar to my other review for the larger cap, with some differences.
It's basically got a rubberized tube, so it can stretch onto tubes of different sizes. You can yank it on, to where the harder portion of the flip cap is flush to the end of the scope tube.
My biggest complaint is that you completely lose access to the focus ring. Yes, most of the time, the focus is fine. But when shooting max magnification, I very often need to adjust it a bit. Maybe because I'm 60+ years old.
I'm disappointed that Vortex doesn't make something better. The interior of the focus ring is threaded. I'm running a Vortex 3-18x50. When someone is running a scope that costs more than $1,500, you would think Vortex would come up with something that could be threaded into focus ring, so you can still be able to make minor adjustments to the focus and was metal. I also have Luepold scope, and really like their scope flip cap. I will likely try to see if I can get a set of Leupold flip caps to replace these, or at least the one so I can get access to the focus.

I bought a set of these. This is the ocular cap as opposed to the objective I reviewed first but the review is the exact same.
They're superior lens caps. They kick the shit out of butler creek but the latch fades compared to Tenebrex. However...the rubber sleeve attachment system, while basic and cavemanish...is rock solid. It won't move for anything once the rubber is snugged. Make sure you don't cant your cap.
I'm likely to buy these for another scope simply because they'll fit, stay on and stay closed.

Far prefer the formed, rubberized product over the market-leader's hard plastic products. I've broken a couple B.C. front caps, but have never even stressed a Vortex lens-cap.
