Description

New for 2020, the feature-rich S20 Precision is the next generation of Sako precision rifle. By its nature, the Sako S20 is a modular rifle that is designed to allow the shooter to change its stock configuration to meet their needs. The S20 Precision features a stock designed specifically for those who are interested in recreational and competitive precision shooting. The rear of the S20 Precision’s stock features a recoil pad that is adjustable for height, angle, and length of pull (using spacers). The underside of the stock has an M-LOK attachment point for monopod placement or a bag rider. The S20 stock also features a quick-adjust cheekpiece to ensure perfect eye alignment with mounted optics. The Sako S20 Precision ships with a 10 round (7 for magnum calibers) Cartridge Plus magazine, that provides extra length for reloaders. The forend of the S20 Precision features additional M-LOK attachment points for the mounting of bipods and barricade stops.

The Sako S20's stainless steel action is brand new and features a 3-lug, push feed bolt with plunger ejection to maximized reliability. The Cerakoted receiver of the S20 features a machined Picatinny rail that allows for the easy mounting of riflescopes. The trigger of the S20 is adjustable for pull weight and for position within the trigger guard (± 7mm) to ensure an absolute perfect length of pull for the shooter. The barrel of the S20 is made from stainless steel and fluted to reduce weight and barrel cool down time. The muzzle of the rifle is 5/8x24 threaded, allowing for the addition of muzzle devices like suppressors or brakes.

Lights out...this is my 3rd Sako S20 .243, .308, and 6.5PRC....all shoot lights out with factory ammo .5-.75 MOA, and .2-.4 MOA with reloads. Love this rifle

It's a Sako, enough said. The quality of innovative design and manufacture shines everywhere on this gun. I own 2 Tikkas and have lusted for a Sako for a while. Euro-Optic's price enabled me to 'pull that trigger'.

The Sako S-20 is a superb rifle. Looking at it first glance you would assume it would be very heavy, but it is not. the action is very smooth and matched to the caliber. The magazines and rock solid and can a accommodate seating the bullet closer to the lands and groves. The barreled action is cera coated and shows no handling marks whatsoever. The accuracy is superb and is legionary to the Sako name.

Under 1/2" groups with 3 different factory rounds. Although not the sexiest stock for looks it fits you perfectly and adjust easily. Both stocks feel great but I prefer the precision version for LR with PRC. I bought a 308 with a short barrel after liking the prc so well. Use the thumb hole on it. These rifles are as accurate or more so than many of my customs costing up to 75% more. Easily a 2500$ rifle. Virtually no cleaning afterwards with the best looking mirror finish bore I've ever scoped. Zero, yes thats right, zero copper after 60 rounds during break in.

This rifle is a dream come true. The action of the bolt is silky smooth with a crisp trigger very nice indeed. The rifle is incredibly light and easy to carry long distances. Thanks SAKO

I purchased the Precision 6.5 PRC 2 years ago and have found that its action is super slick, stock adjustability is very good, needs a 20 MOA integral full length rail. Has an amazing trigger very adjustable as well and 7 round magazines feed perfectly. When I received mine (very early version) I also found it was well used without a cleaned barrel… Took 2 days to clean up the carbon fouling. Not good. Since then the rifle fouls prematurely due to the extreme process required to remove the “new rifle” Carbon fouling. It’s my opinion that I received a rifle used for testing or was returned. I’ll re-barrel soon. Final note is the rifle is accurate, adjustable and well made.

I've shot and hunted with a Sako Finnlight for past 15+ years. My new S20 is quite different and really made well, totally love it. Thanks for a great new option!
