Schmidt Bender PMII 5-25x56 LP H2CMR Scope UA-1301

This is a demo scope, and was purchased as one. That being said there were a few things with the purchase and the scope I thought should be said. The shipping was set up to go to a company ( i am not) and U.P.S would not leave it at the house without a signature, and I do not get off work early enough to pick it up at there distribution center before they closed. So it rode around in there truck for 4 days until my wife was home to sign for it. After I opened the box I was happy with how it looked it was just as described to me over the phone. I then started checking things when i turned the eye piece I found it full of sand and grit. I cleaned the whole scope and it was working great, so i took it outside to check it out and saw 2 pieces of dust inside the scope. I cleaned the lenses again and there is no doubt the dust is inside the scope. I know I bought a demo scope and the price was great and the people at euro optic are awesome but these things are plane as day and it would have been nice to know about. As I said I spoke to someone there and they had it in there hands while I was talking to them. I will shoot it this summer and check it out and send it to Schmidt and Bender this next winter to have it checked and cleaned. Overall I am happy with the scope and the service I got at Euro optics, and will use them again.
