Excellent optic, with top-quality manufacturing and features. A bit bulky and chunky, though, depending on what rifle you'll be putting it on. I also didn't like two things about this optic [Minor issues, hence the 4 stars, not five]: 1. The eye relief is short and has a narrow range. For a Remington 700 short action application/installation, I had to buy a special extended picatinny mount from Precision Reflex: { https://www.precisionreflex.com/bases/119-rem-700-sa-8-7-8-full-1913-base-w-rear-eye-relief.html } in order to get the eye relief far enough back to have a full sight picture when naturally mounting/shouldering the rifle. I'm thinking that NTCH cheek weld on an AR-15 platform would work better for those going that way. 2. The mounting base is fixed and offers little variation. If there was a standard tube construction, I would have been able to choose from a variety of cantilever mount options that might have addressed the eye relief limitations of this optic. However, the mounting base is integral to the optic, and I had to go with a custom mounting solution to make it work for me.
