I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on a set of "long johns" after years of buying $12 wally world thermals and just being OK happy. I wore these with the same outer pants I usually wear and the difference in warmth, especially during windy conditions, was very noticeable. As always the staff at EO was great for the in person purchase. No matter if buying a rifle, a optic or even just a shirt, they treat you well. So far I have a few Sitka Gear items and have found all of them to be of quality and worth the price paid. However, I wish for the price, some of it could be made here in the USA instead of overseas.
