Description
Ideal for tactical applications and competitive shooting, the Tikka T3x CTR Rifle Series delivers maximum performance in a compact package. Like all of the rifles in the T3x family, the CTR’s bolt is exceptionally smooth – a perfect feature for making quick follow up shots. The single-stage adjustable trigger can be finely tuned from 2.5 lbs to 4.5 lbs, breaks cleanly, and delivers maximum reliability in adverse conditions. The cold hammer forged barrel features a semi-heavy contour to minimize heat-warp and reduce barrel harmonics during prolonged firing sessions. The combination of a single stage trigger and semi-heavy contour barrel results on a sub-MOA level of accuracy, making the T3x CTR an excellent choice for long-range precision.
Other notable features of the Tikka T3x CTR Rifle include an ultra-durable polymer stock. The stock’s pistol grip is interchangeable for comfortable hand placement, and places the shooter’s finger in the optimal position relative to the trigger. The stock also features an integrated cheek rest to ensure proper alignment between the shooter’s eye and a mounted optic. In addition, the Tikka T3x CTR Rifle comes standard with a detachable 10-round magazine and a 1913 Picatinny optics rail.

I loved the Tikka Tac A1 a bunch and so I bought this for a ranch rifle....wanting the Tikka barrel and action in a synthetic stock. Bad move on my part....should have bought another one of the Tac A1 models as now I am replacing the stock with an aftermarket chassis from MDT which will let the barrel free float which is what it needs to do. I could not get this firearm to group tight like it should so slid a piece of really thin paper down the barrel and could not reach the action where the barrel screws into it in the last 2 inches...pure contact with the stock/forearm. Other issues were the grip is a piece of plastic and you will want to BUY the soft touch, the butt stock is hollow as expected but when I removed the spacers the butt pad was not cut correctly and had to be crammed into the stock, and it did not come with any tools/wrenches to remove anything and no mention of what type of head is on the screw inside the buttstock....got to fish around and figure it out on your own....found out a phlllips head worked???? So be it, so after purchasing the MDT chassis and new magazines that fit that chassis, I will now have a beautiful rifle that I will enjoy shooting. Still love the Tikka/Sako barrel/action but come on folks....this was cheap to say the least and then to try and make an extra dollar off a buyer that just spent a pretty good sum of money to purchase the "best" is low. Think hard about whether or not you really want to purchase "upgrades" before purchasing this rifle. Now....I will be happy after the MDT chassis is on but this should not have been necessary.
