Description
This mount is compatible with Trijicon's RMR Micro Red Dot (or any micro red dot that shares the same footprint), and features a Bright & Tough rear sight built directly into the mount itself, as well as a Bright & Tough front sight. The Bright & Tough Iron Sights have been engineered to an optimal height, allowing the front sight to be seen through the window of the RMR Micro Red Dot. The ability to co-witness with the iron sights greatly increases your ability to acquire the red dot sight, and can be used with a suppressor or as a back up aiming solution.

Customer Reviews
I had read that the screws strip out easy but I went ahead and got the set and like I thought trijicon wouldn't design garbage. They worked great to mount my RMR everything comes with lock tight already on it. And I've had no issues at all. Be sure to order the correct set for the M18 there are to version military and civilian. The civilian model serial number starts out with a M. The military serial number starts out with a TC. They are different.
In it's current configuration, this solution to add an RMR/ SRO with tritium co-witness backup sights to the Sig M18/17 is useless. I think Trijicon did a fair job with the adapter with two exceptions; Tolerances are poor and the plate has plenty of room to shift. The provided screws have threads that are not strong enough and strip very easily at about 12 inch pounds, they just 'spin' when trying to retighten... very soft metal. The other problem is SIG's design... the plate has to be mounted from underneath the slide through two very small threaded screw holes. Consequently, the screws that must be used to fit are not strong enough to support the mass of optic and plate under firing cycles. It only took two about 40 rounds for the screws (using red Loctite) to work loose... and the whole plate and optic to start shifting. Been through 2 sets of screws so far, the original and another set sent by Trijicon. A total waste of over $200. Had to put the Leupold DPP back on. Sure would be nice to have back-up night sights to the DPP. Curious what the Military was thinking when they adopted this mess. Btw, obviously, none of this is EuroOptics fault, always had a great buying experience with them.
