This eyepiece is a useful addition to the Vortex Viper HD spotting scope. I work as a range officer at a public 2,000-yard range, and frequently spot targets for shooters. Using this eyepiece I can call the actual impacts in MRADs, which is much more useful to our clients than calling misses in yards.

I purchased the Vortex Viper HD Ranging Eyepiece w/ Reticle MRAD VS-85REM to more accurately call shot adjustments for my friends and family on range days and in the field as well. The glass is very clear and the reticle is position adjustable. Kudos to Vortex for such a good, reasonably priced eyepiece.
