Optics are better than much more expensive scopes, with the edge-to-edge clarity being superior to my Zeiss and other quality scopes. Contrast is great and clarity is crisp. The reticule is the best thing about this scope though - I have my 22-250 loads shooting within an inch of the ballistic hash marks out to 700 yards. As long as I know the range, I can hit it. Bunnies at 300 yards are effortless. Mine is actually a warranty replacement for a 30 year old Burris scope which had failed seals (after 30 years). Unbeatable after-sales support and "Forever warranty".

Compares very favorably to my $1,000 āLā 6.5-20X scope with the difficult-to-find Varmint Hunter reticle, which is what i was looking for when i found this burris Ballistic-Plex. I have 3 of these now. Its easy to dial in a load that matches the reticle hash marks for POI at 300, 400, 500 yds. I never hear anyone discuss this, but you can also adjust the magnification on this (or any other) SFP scope to get a POI matching the reticle hash marks.
Only shortcoming - very common to today's scope designs, the tube length and objective flare dimensions prevent mounting the scope far back enough for acceptable eye relief with a natural cheek placement.
