I have had this scope for 3 years. It now sits on a ruger precision 6.5 Creedmoor. I thought I was moving up with a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22 SFP. Boy was I wrong. Im selling the NF NXS and buying my second scope like this for my 338 LM . Love everything about this scope. Get them before they are gone as they are not making this one anymore.

My first Leupold MK4. Always wanted a black ring Leupold scope. Due to the closeout pricing on this one, I now own one. This is also my first FFP scope. Have so many SFP scopes that a FFP is very different as the reticle zooms up and down with the magnification. I don't understand the concept behind mil dot reticle and MOA adjustments. For my shooting applications of groups and load testing at 100 yds and shooting steel out to 1000yds, it will work just fine. The glass is first rate and I like the solid feel to the adjustment knobs and clicks. One great big set screw per knob for setting zero. Everything about this scope is heavy duty. Mine is mounted on a LR Leupold base with Leupold rings on a Remington 700 PSS with Harris bipod. Everything is basic black and looks as good as it shoots.
