Description

This Surgeon 591 short, repeater action has .473" bolt face diameter with a .062" firing pin hole and Remington style extractor. It has a .25" recoil lug, tactical bolt knob, 20 MOA 1913 picatinny rail, side mounted bolt stop to prevent accidentally releasing, an anti-jam rail to prevent a round from lodging in the raceway, and an anti-bind rail.

I'm looking for a two-stage trigger for my Surgeon 591 action

The action is good , the integrated lug is a big minus for me and I was unable to mate it to a barrel I had purchased from shilen as it was to thick to fit ! For that reason I will not order another for future builds , now I have the added expense of buying a barrel blank and having it machined , at an additional cost of $500 or so ! It is a great action , but for me , a real pain !
