To use a riflescope with your firearm, you’ll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith’s skills will be needed for proper installation.

Only con I have is I believe Trijicon could have done a better job with the fiber illumination. Illumination is excellent in the sun or lowlight, but under any shade it’s non existent. Not a big deal as I don’t believe I lose any speed as the post draws your eyes in. The glass clarity is very good, not as good as Swarovski Z6i but outstanding for the price range. One thing I was surprised with is how good the low light performance was for a 1-6. It has the best low light performance of any 1-6 I’ve owned including the Z6i.
