Description

With over one million produced, Trijicon’s Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight, better known as the ACOG has become iconic in the realm of combat optics — and for good reason, the ACOG has an unquestioned reputation for quality and reliability. The Trijicon ACOG is the official medium range weapon sight for both U.S. Special Operations Forces and the Marine Corps as well as being the optic of choice for law enforcement agencies across the country. What sets the ACOG apart from the pack is what it offers to its users, increased hit potential regardless of light conditions. This is due to the tritium/fiber optic illuminated reticle found in most Trijicon ACOG riflescopes, this automatically adjusts illumination of the reticle based on available light. With a wide array of magnification levels, reticle designs, and reticle colors available — there truly is an ACOG for every mission.

Trijicon ACOG riflescopes come in the following magnification levels:

1.5x16, 1.5x24, 2x20, 3x24, 3x30, 3.5x55, 4x32, 5.5x50, and 6x48.

Rugged Aluminum-Alloy Housing: Forged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum-housing provides for a nearly indestructible sighting system.

Waterproof up to 100 Meters: Dry-nitrogen filled to eliminate fogging. Five times more waterproof than military standard requirements.

In my opinion, this LED model is much better than the fiber optic models. The reticle is simply crisper and more useable since I can control the brightness. I’ve also had two donut reticle ACOGs in the past and, while great, I much prefer the crosshair reticle. I find it simpler since all you have to do is choose the respective range crosshair, and I find it more accurate. Strangely, I also think it’s just as fast as a donut, but I use a piggybacked RMR anyway so it’s a non-issue. Highly recommend an LED model over a fiber optic model, and highly recommend the crosshair reticle.

Very happy with my Ta02. Had great customer service dealing with eurooptic on shipping issue Got the acog sighted in at 40, 100, 200 meters with a 100 meter zero and it’s a perfect fit atop my 20” WWSD.

I like the crosshair reticle better than the chevron reticle on my other ACOG. Other than that it's a Trijicon, and will probably buy another for a future build.
