Description

Carl Zeiss has a long and illustrious history that begins in Germany in 1846. Since their inception, they have been known to be leaders in the world of optical designs and fine mechanics. Purchasing and using a riflescope from the creators of many of the world’s most revered optical and mechanical designs ensures satisfaction, confidence and appreciation for how a truly fine optic can enhance your outdoor experience.

The Zeiss 3-12x56 Victory Riflescope was designed to make every moment of your hunt count, right down to the last light of the day. The outstanding 56mm objective lens of this remarkable sighting optic adds a significant increase in twilight performance that greatly enhances your ability to gain positive sight acquisition when the light is less than perfect.

Hunting enthusiasts know that the right tool for the job gets the job done right. The size and distance of your intended target play a major role when selecting a sighting system for your firearm. Trying to hit a dime sized target at 300 yds when you have a 1.5x riflescope riding on top of your cherished Remington 700 would be a less than satisfactory situation for most shooters. Zeiss has configured this scope with a notable 3-12x of magnification range that is suitable to most any hunting scenario; it excels at long range target acquisition and the field of view is also applicable to closer encounters.

Reading about a Zeiss riflescope is analogous to reading about driving a Porsche. You just can’t quite experience the thrill until you’ve taken one out on the road. Even before you mount one of these highly refined optical sighting systems onto your receiver you can feel the correctness in the fit and finish. Turning the windage and elevation knobs unveils resounding clicks for each MOA of adjustment that speak loudly of precision and stability. Of course, when you shoulder your rifle and gaze through your new Zeiss scope you immediately realize the benefits of this well thought out investment; the scene pops into view with clarity and brilliance beyond your wildest dreams. Welcome to the world of Zeiss.

To use a riflescope with your firearm, you’ll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. By affixing the scope mounted rings to the rifle mounted base you create a reliable accurate, and secure sighting system. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith’s skills will be needed for proper installation.

Key Features

• 3-12x Magnification
A bump up in power from the 2.5-10x, the 3-12x magnification range brings you in closer to more distant targets easily. Smaller targets become more magnified, and responsible target acquisition can be executed with authority. At the low end of the zoom range a brighter sight picture is visible and sight acquisition on moving targets becomes possible.
• Parallax Correction
Parallax correction is factory preset at 110 yards (100 meters)
• Advanced Optics System
The Advanced Optics System (AOS) features lead and arsenic-free glass for superior optical performance, tremendous low-light capability and rugged durability
• Fully Multicoated Optics
Zeiss’ proprietary T* lens coating technology reduces flare, improves contrast, and increases light transmission.
Abrasion resistant LotuTec lens coating repels water and dirt.
• Recoil Proof
Engineered and proven to withstand & readily manage the most punishing recoil of big bore African safari rifles.
• Waterproof and Fog Proof
30mm Center tube is machined from a single piece of rugged aluminum alloy that is o-ring sealed and nitrogen purged
• Fast Reticle Adjustment with Zero Reset
The fast reticle adjustment feature (ASV) enables quick adjustments to be made to compensate for bullet drop across distances of 100-300 yds. Raising the knob allows you to reset the dial to zero. Click counting & hold overs are eliminated; the visual registration of the appropriate hash mark ensures you’re on target.
• Metric Windage & Elevation Adjustments
Metric Windage & Elevation precision adjustments offer .36 MOA (1cm/100 m) audible and tactile clicks with a range of 40 MOA (102cm/100m) on both axis
• Illuminated Red Crosshair #66 Reticle
The illuminated #66 reticle features three medium non-tapered posts and cross hairs. The intersection of the cross hairs can be illuminated for positive shot placement under difficult lighting conditions.
