The Eliminator 6 4-20x52mm is one of the most technologically advanced riflescopes on the market. It comes equipped with an integrated laser rangefinder that provides precise and instant ranging on reflective targets up to 2000 yards away and up to 1400 yards away on deer. After ranging the target, the Eliminator 6’s onboard ballistics software will calculate a firing solution to achieve the perfect shot. In addition to the target’s range, the Eliminator 6 takes into account environmental factors including temperature, air pressure, humidity, and density altitude. The Eliminator 6 also utilizes the firearm-specific information such as the type of weapon (rifle, muzzleloader, slug-gun), bullet weight, and bullet velocity. This information is entered into the Burris Connect App to create a custom ballistic profile which can then be uploaded directly onto the Eliminator 6.
The Eliminator 6’s ballistic computations work in tandem with the innovative X177 reticle and heads up display. The X177 is composed of a precise center crosshair that sits atop a pyramid structure of 177 aiming points. After the firing solution is calculated, one of the aiming points will illuminate to show the exact point of impact. The heads up display (HUD) provides vital information including density altitude, range finder information, Bluetooth connectivity, bullet energy/velocity, level, wind hold values, temperature, and battery life. The info visible in the HUD allows shooters to recognize when potential game might be out of range to make an ethical shot, and will display an “X” if the user-defined terminal performance is inadequate at the ranged distance.
