Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x42 HSR-5i MRAD Riflescope RZR-31502

Purchased this scope as a lightweight option for a hunting/plinking rifle in .308. VERY surprised with the glass quality! The Razor imagine is very crisp edge-to-edge and bright even in low-light/overcast weather even with it's arguably small objective diameter of 42mm. Has excellent color clarity and an warmer overall tone making this pleasing to the eye through extended use. I liked, but did not love the turrets. The clicks are a little mushy but very accurate and worked just fine (nitpicking). The Zero-stop was easy to set without tools and worked flawlessly after zeroing, giving you 0.5 mils below marked "0". The illumination is my only major gripe of this scope. It bleeds over onto the numbers in the horizontal stadia where is doesn't belong, but the center dot is bright enough to be functional in low-light use. The activation button has a mushy feel, but works. For what I needed this scope to do, it exceeded my expectations with its VERY crisp, clear glass and usable reticle. Makes an awesome lightweight hunting option and maxed out at 15 power, worked super well plinking steel to 400 yards using the reticle for holdover.
