Sako 85 Stainless and Schmidt Bender

Rusty B. sends us a few images of his latest rifle setup, a Sako 85 Carbonlight Stainless chambered in .308 Winchester with a Schmidt Bender PM II 3-20:

Rusty used Seekins rings to connect the Schmidt PM II riflescope to the base. In this image, you can better see the 34mm rings gripping the scope tube.

This configuration allows the user the ability to use tactical-style scope controls and features while still maintaining an overall lightweight package. The 50mm objective lens on the PM II is not as big as it could be with other PM II models, but still amply large to transmit plenty of light in dawn or dusk, and the scope does have an illuminated reticle for those situations.

Nice rifle, Rusty, send us some pics when you get a trophy with this one.

Can you advise regarding what base was used to mount to the Sake dovetails? Looks like a picatinny rail, thanks.
