The American Defense Manufacturing AD-RECON-SL is designed for mounting large riflescopes onto AR and tactical bolt action rifles. The AD-RECON-SL is a straight up style scope mount with no built in eye-relief and is the lowest scope mount offering from American Defense Manufacturing. The AD-RECON-SL mount is machined from 6061 T1 aluminum and finished with T3 anodized hard coat. New for 2019, the patented QD Auto Lock Lever System is now made from titanium for maximum durability and weight reduction.

I wanted a quick detach mount for a heavy-hitting lever gun with a pic rail. This mount lets me quickly switch to ghost ring sights and remount my US Optics LPVO scope later without a re-zero. The unit is light yet sturdy. One thing to note when installing: there is a top and bottom to the rings. They may look symmetrical, but you must keep the orientation if you set the removable ring portion aside. Kudos to Europtics for the quick delivery.
