Description

This Accuracy International AT rifle comes with a fixed pale brown stock, 20 inch barrel with a standard break and small firing pin. It is chambered around the .308 Win round and has a crisp adjustable trigger between 3.3lbs and 4.4lbs.

Continuing in the legacy of the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare (AW), the AT (Accuracy Tactical) weapon system provides military, law enforcement and civilian shooters battle-proven features, including:

20mm diameter close-fitting bolt with 6 locking lugs and AI one-piece extractor. To minimize hand movement, the short 60° throw bolt is positioned close to the stock, and just above the trigger.
The AT's action is flat-bottomed steel, and is bolted and bonded to the full-length aluminum chassis for rigidity.
QD flush cup sling attachments are located on the main chassis - two rear, two above the pistol grip, and two forward.
QuickLoc barrel release system allows for barrel removal and refit in under one minute using only a 4mm hex wrench.
Cheekpiece is configurable for lateral and height adjustments.
Large, recoil-absorbing butt pad increases comfort and allows the user to adjust rifle length of pull using the included spacers. Different butt pads are available as accessories
Pistol grip is replaceable in minutes and can utilize different backstraps.
3-position safety is based on the design of the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare (AW) battle-proven system.
Two-stage trigger features an adjustable pull weight of 1.5-2.0kg (3.3-4.4lb) and is removable for cleaning via (2) socket-head screws.
Includes 10-round corrosion-resistant, low-friction magazine.
Optionally, a co-planar night vision device mount is available as an accessory.

I have a Remington 700 5r that easily shoots 3/8 groups with FGMM. When talking to a gunsmith at Mile High Shooting and asking about upgrades I mentioned that I was considering an AI AT. He commented that he could build whatever he wanted but when he was going somewhere where he had to absolutely trust his equipment, the AI AT was what he grabbed. That did it for me. I have owned a GA Precision Crusader and many other high end rifles, but this AI AT is the most consistent and accurate rifle I own. At first I thought the 3lb trigger would be a problem but it is so smooth it has not been an issue. The best feature is the switch barrel capability. I have the 20" .308 and a 24" 6.5CM AI barrel. 5 shot group this morning with the 6.5 CM was .349 CTC. Barrels clean up in 5-8 patches. Bottom line, if you can swing the cost you won't regret it. Finally, the reason I went with EuroOptic is because they carry high end equipment at very reasonable prices and when you talk to someone on the phone they actually know what they are talking about. I was so impressed that when it came time to upgrade optics, they were my first choice. The AI AT and the Nightforce ATACR F1 5-25x56 is a combo you could take to hell and back.
