This G-5017 Camera comes equipped with Dual Flash technology which incorporates 28 high-power 940nm IR LEDs and 28 high-power 850nm IR LEDs for nighttime observation. The 850nm LEDs do produce a small amount of visible light, but at the same time can produce better image quality and has a better illumination range. The 940nm LEDs feature Cuddeback’s own Black Flash technology, which has a slightly reduced illumination range and image quality, but is 100% invisible to both animals and people. The Dual Flash technology allows the user to select between the 850nm and 940nm LEDs for a customized viewing experience.
